These seven photograms were made for the first issue of the literary magazine »syntax acut • TXT.DOC.EXE«, that appeared in December 2001.

The technique of making a photogram - placing objects onto a light-sensitive surface and exposing it to light - was the starting-point of photography. White first began experimenting with this process for the syntax-series. She exposed photographic paper several times with combinations of objects and text, creating curious and intricate images.
