The paintings featured in this show presented the viewer with strange, quirky spaces and peculiar landscapes.
Common to many of the paintings is that one single unit, with subtle variations, is repeated, overlaid or subtracted: a pile of corks; a tangle of handwriting; a pattern of shadows.
The infinite possibilities arising from this repetition of simple building blocks is a basic element of these works. Their common thread is the conjuncture of familiar and alien and the accompanying disruption of orientation.
Alongside the paintings, a group of objects entitled »Invisible« was on display.
